The calls in Streamwood included 102 fires - 55 structure fires, 11 vehicle fires and 25 other fires. The fire department also responded to 11 calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $587,850 in fire loss - or about $5,763 per fire.
The department also received 342 false calls, including three malicious calls and 339 other false calls.
The calls resulted in three civilian fire-related injuries. Additionally, one fire service member was injured in fire-related incidents and one was injured in non fire-related incidents.
The Streamwood Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 48 active employees and 35 retired or inactive employees, was $2,052,337 in debt as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $20,121 for every fire in 2016.
