Du Page County Development Committee met July 11.

Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

1. Call to Order

11:00 am meeting was called to order by Chair Sam Tornatore at 11:00 am.

A. Please turn all beepers, pagers and cell phones "off" or to "vibrate" during the meeting

2. Roll Call

Present: Anderson, Chaplin, Eckhoff, Grasso, Tornatore, Wiley

Absent:

Motion by Member Anderson, seconded by Member Grasso to allow Member Wiley to participate via speaker phone while his is serving in the military. On a voice vote all members present voted aye. Motion carried.

County Board Member Amy Grant was also in attendance.

3. Chairman's Remarks

A. FY2018 Budget Discussion

Chair Tornatore turned the floor over to Director Kottmeyer, who gave a through explanation of the FY2018 Regulatory Services Budget. Discussion ensued regarding the need for a new Permitting System. Director Kottmeyer answered all questions posed by the Committee.

4. Public Comment

A. Public comment is limited to three minutes per person, at the beginning of the meeting. Any comment on Zoning items must be limited to discussion of testimony and/or evidence presented in the Zoning Board of Appeals. No new testimony or evidence can be presented.

There was no Public Comment.

5. Approval of Minutes

A. Development Committee - Regular Meeting - Jun 20, 2017 11:00 am

Result: Accepted [Unanimous]

Mover: Elizabeth Chaplin, Vice Chair

Seconder: Janice Anderson, District 5

Ayes: Anderson, Chaplin, Eckhoff, Grasso, Tornatore, Wiley

There was no Old Business.

7. New Business

There was no New Business.

8. Adjournment

Without objection the meeting was adjourned at 11:19 am.
