Des Plaines is offering a chance to hit the hardwood with your friends and take home the tournament crown this summer.
The Des Plaines Park District is hosting a basketball tournament on June 3 and 4. The ages range 8 and up, and are broken down into 8 different age brackets, including a 40+ division. Teams can have up to five players, and the winners will take home medals and bragging rights.
The tournament is double elimination style, and referees will be provided. There also will be a three-point contest June 4.
The deadline to register is May 29, and the sign-up fee is $30.
