Elgin committee considers intergovernmental agreement

A. Consideration of Proposed Ordinance Establishing Regulations for the Abatement of

Nuisance Activities in the Center City Business District, Public Parks and Other

Recreational Areas and Facilities within the City (No cost to the City)

Objective: Adopt additional regulations to reduce the occurrence of unlawful nuisance

activities in the Center City Business District and other public areas.  

  

B. Consideration of Intergovernmental Agreement with the Forest Preserve of Kane

County for Elgin Shores Park (No cost to the City)

Objective: Maintain Elgin Shores as a park for Elgin residents.  

  

C. Consideration of Acceptance of the Illinois Department of Transportation Sustained

Traffic Enforcement Program Grant for Occupant Protection and Impaired Driving

Enforcement ($98,509)

Objective: Partner with Illinois Department of Transportation to continue to provide safer

roadways through occupant protection and impaired driving enforcement.
