Registration for volleyball in the Schaumburg Athletic Association has been extended to Aug. 25, according to the organization's website.
The sport, which is in its second season in the SAA, is for girls and boys in grades 4-8.

Evaluations for players in grades 4-6 will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and from 7 to 9:30 p.m. for grades 7 and 8. Make-up evaluations will be Aug. 25. Evaluations are to ensure that each team has a balanced mix of beginners as well as players of intermediate and slightly advanced skill levels. Those who want to play but cannot make the evaluation dates should call the SAA at 847-352-7422 or email saasports8@saa-online.com.
Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Sports Center, with grades 4-6 practicing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and grades 7 and 8 practicing from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
