The ninth annual Links Technology Cup, set for Aug. 19, will benefit the Schaumburg Park Foundation. | Schaumburg Park District
The Schaumburg Park District will host its ninth annual Links Technology Cup golf outing on Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Schaumburg Golf Club.
The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with check-in. The 18 holes of golf will have a shotgun start/scramble format. At just about every hole there will be a "Taste on the Tee," a showcase of food and beverages. Players will also have access to the practice range, a golf cart and course contests. Chandler's Chophouse will also provide a steak dinner with an open bar after the competition.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Schaumburg Park Foundation, a 501(c)3 fundraising organization that supports the district’s recreation scholarship program. The recreation scholarship program provides funds for family memberships, programs and events to those who might not otherwise have the financial ability to participate in Schaumburg Park District activities.
