Park Ridge Public Library trustees gather for appointment discussion

The Park Ridge Public Library board of trustees met at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17.

Library Trustees are appointed to a three-year term by the mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. On June 30 each year, three trustees' terms expire. Trustees may be reappointed for additional terms, but they are subject to the same application and interview process as new candidates. All city boards and commissions have a limit of three consecutive terms.
