The bidding process for an indoor wireless solution for the City of Park Ridge opened at 10 a.m. on March 17.
The sealed bids will be opened and read in public at the Park Ridge Finance Desk, 505 Butler Place, at 10 a.m. April 5.
The city is seeking an encrypted wireless system that provides connections for city computers and allows access to mobile devices, such as city-owned smartphones and tablets. The system must also provide visitors appropriate public access.
Potential bidders were allowed to view the building on March 17. Questions are still being accepted by the procurement officer at jmcguire@parkridge.us. All queries are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 29.
Bid packages are available at the City of Park Ridge, 505 Butler Place. Interested contractors or venders can register to view the RFP here. The bid requires a five-percent bid bond.
