The Youth Services Commission will meet at 6 p.m. tomorrow.

The City of Park Ridge Youth Services Commission will meet at 6 p.m. tomorrow, March 10, in the second floor conference room of City Hall, located at 505 Butler Place.

The commissioners will discuss the Park District Concert. At the Feb. 11 commission meeting, the commissioners discussed an invitation from Mary Bart of the Park District. She had approached Commissioner Jared Skiba about participating in the carnival at Hinkley Park and hosting a teen band night on Aug. 10. The commission agreed that it was interested in participating. Skiba conveyed the commissioners' approval back to Bart.

The commission will continue the discussion regarding the Park District concert and review a budget for the event, including funding for the sound and stage lighting. After the discussion on the concert, the commission will move on to the year's calendar of events.

Previously, the commissioners discussed programs at the library, the Memorial Day parade, Taste of Park Ridge and other upcoming events in the city. The commissioners will continue working on the event calendar as they seek activities appropriate for high school students in Park Ridge.
