Prospect Heights residents have another chance to express their concerns about the city water supply.
Prospect Heights has sent out a second survey to give city residents another opportunity to express their concerns regarding the water supply.
The revised survey was mailed out on Feb. 18 to residents who did not reply to the first survey or who do not use city water.
The purpose of the surveys is to gather information on the resident's worries about the water supply. Residents can also use the survey to volunteer for subcommittees that will be addressing the questions and concerns revealed by the two surveys and seeking solutions. The survey deadline is April 15.
Volunteers will be contacted in April and May by a Water Committee member. Planning for the subcommittees' activities will begin at that time, as well.
Water Committee meetings are held at 8 a.m. every month in the City Hall Council Chambers, 8 N. Elmhurst Road. The next committee meeting is scheduled for April 2. The public is invited to attend the committee meetings.
The committee has a page on the city website where residents can view the results of the first survey and access the second survey.
