At today's meeting, the Fire/Police Commission will hear updates on the Hersey High School crosswalk and testing applicants.
The City of Prospect Heights Fire/Police Commission is preparing to meet and hear an update on the John Hersey High School crosswalk.
The meeting will commence at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 25, in the Police Conference Room at 14 E. Camp McDonald Road.
The commission will also hear an update concerning the police department. Following this, the commission will move on to discuss testing applicants.
The commission is still accepting applications for the police officer position. Applications are available online or by calling 708-410-0200 until 2 p.m. March 4. The mandatory orientation will be held at 9 a.m. on March 19 or 6:30 p.m. on March 23. The written test will be held at the MacArthur Middle School cafeteria at 9 a.m. March 26.
After the updates, the commission will move to an executive session to discuss the testing process. Upon returning to the regular meeting, it may or may not act upon the items discussed in the closed session.
The next meeting is scheduled for March 31.
