Elgin Emergency Telephone System Board to meet, authorize invoices

The Elgin, Illinois Emergency Telephone System Board will meet on Dec. 17 at the Elgin Police Department in the Chief's Conference Room on the third floor at 151 Douglas Ave.

The meeting will be called to order at 3:30 p.m. The board will then review and approve the minutes of the Nov. 19 meeting.

After reviewing invoices, the board will authorize payments. Current invoices include $1,534.18 for the AT&T land line 911 trunk lines; $4,506.95 for the AT&T cellular 911 trunk lines; and $506.40 for the State of Illinois Central Management Services for the ICN/IP network.

The Monthly Account Activity Report will update the board on the status of Fund 220 and the E9-1-1 telephone system. A budget activity report will also be provided.

Old Business and New Business will be discussed, including the release of contingency funds. After hearing Unscheduled Agenda Items, the meeting will be adjourned.

The Emergency Telephone System Board, also known as the E-911 Board, meets on the third Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Its five members are appointed to three-year terms by the Mayor. The board's duties include planning, coordinating and supervising the E-911 Emergency Telephone System.
