A job seekers workshop is to be held on November 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Poplar Creek Library in Streamwood, Illinois.
Come to the library to learn strategies when job searching. The workshop on Saturday will help job seekers update and improve cover letters and resumes, as well as hearing the latest tips in interviewing techniques that lead to a new job. Job seekers will also practice winning strategies in job searching, such as how to network and find job leads. In addition, they will learn how to sell yourself to a prospective employer and walk away with a job offer.
The workshop will be held at the Poplar Creek Library, Meeting Room One, 1405 S. Park Ave. Refreshments will be served at the workshop, but attendees are on their own for lunch. Walk-ins are welcomed to the workshop.
