Park Ridge seeks Liquor License Review Board members

Parkridge

The Park Ridge Liquor License Board is accepting applications for new members through October 19.

The volunteer commitment, which is a 4-year term, will start on January 1, 2016. The Board has the authority, under the direction of the Mayor/Local Liquor Control Commissioner, to investigate applications, conduct hearings, receive evidence and sworn testimony and make recommendations to the Commissioner. In order to be considered an active member, all board members must maintain a 75 percent attendance rate.

For additional information on Boards & Commissions, visit the Park Ridge Government website. The application for the Board can also be found under the "Our Government" tab. To be considered, the completed application and resume (if available) should be returned to Deputy Clerk Peterson by e-mail or fax.

Deputy Clerk Peterson will be in charge of contacting applicants to set up a brief interview on November 2 with the Mayor’s Advisory Board.
