The Washington Bears, led by former Evanston Township High School standout Theo Rocca, defeated the Transylvania Pioneers 82-47 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.
The matchup, the first against the Pioneers in this tournament, was held at WashU Field House at 8:35 p.m.
Washington Bears will play again on Saturday, March 7, with tipoff set for 7:35 p.m. at the same venue.
