On Saturday, March 7, the Washington Bears, featuring former Niles North High School player Yogi Oliff, defeated the UW Whitewater Warhawks 74-71 in an NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament contest.
The matchup, held at WashU Field House at 7:35 p.m., marked the teams’ first meeting of the tournament.
The Bears are set to play their next game on Friday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at Jerabeck Athletic Center.
