University of Mississippi announces fall 2025 Chancellor’s Honor Roll recipients

The University of Mississippi has released the names of students who achieved placement on the Fall 2025 Chancellor’s Honor Roll. Among those recognized are Aidan Kennedy, from Glenview, Illinois, enrolled in the B.B.A. in Finance program, and Thalia Lafayette, also from Glenview, Illinois, pursuing a B.A.Ed. in Special Education. Both students earned this distinction by achieving a semester GPA between 3.75 and 4.00.

Chancellor Glenn Boyce commented on the announcement: “We are very proud of the students earning the Chancellor’s Honor Roll designation. This recognition reflects their academic excellence and achievements and exemplifies the hard work, commitment and dedication that define our university community.”

To qualify for honor roll status at the University of Mississippi, students must complete at least 12 graded hours during the semester and must not be on academic probation.

The University of Mississippi is recognized as the state’s flagship institution and is classified among R1: Doctoral Universities – Highest Research Activity by the Carnegie Classification. The university consists of 16 academic divisions including a medical school and nationally recognized schools of accountancy, law, pharmacy, and an Honors College.
