Augustana College has announced the arrival of over 700 new students for the fall 2025 semester. The incoming group includes first-year, transfer, and non-degree students.
Among the new students are Lucy Pufundt from Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Emanuel Anguelov from Arlington Heights, Illinois. Both will begin their studies at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
Augustana College is a private liberal arts and sciences institution with an enrollment of 2,500 students on its 115-acre campus in the Quad Cities region along the Mississippi River. The college offers more than 100 majors, minors, and academic programs. It emphasizes engaged learning through customized success teams, hands-on experiences, 170 student organizations, and participation in 28 NCAA Division III athletic teams. In addition to undergraduate offerings, Augustana also enrolls about 40 graduate-level students in its accredited master of science in speech language pathology program. The college’s location and community partnerships provide access to internships, jobs, student teaching positions, and research opportunities.
