Augustana College has announced the arrival of over 700 new students for the fall 2025 semester. The group includes first-year, transfer, and non-degree students.

Among the new students are Dylan Heber, Alexis Horn, Brandon Houghton, Kay Manolis, Tyler Steinberg, and James Tsagalis. All are from Arlington Heights or Arlington Hts, Illinois, and have joined Augustana College in Rock Island for the upcoming academic year.

Augustana is a private liberal arts and sciences college that enrolls about 2,500 students on its 115-acre residential campus in the Quad Cities along the Mississippi River. The college offers 100 majors, minors, and other academic programs. It focuses on engaged learning through customized success teams and hands-on experiences. Students can participate in 170 student organizations and 28 NCAA Division III athletic teams.

The institution also serves about 40 graduate-level students in its accredited master of science in speech language pathology program. According to Augustana College, its location and partnerships with local organizations give students access to internships, jobs, student teaching opportunities, and research experiences.
