Illinois State House District 54 issued the following announcement on Oct. 2
Palatine—State Representative Tom Morrison (R-Palatine) is hosting a senior fair on Thursday, October 24th. The event will be held at the Palatine Senior Center, 505 S. Quentin Road, from 9:30AM—11:30AM.
The event is free, open to the public, and will feature vendors from area businesses, organizations, and state agencies aimed at helping seniors in every aspect of their lives. There will be resources from state, county, and local governments, as well as the services that Rep. Morrison’s District Office offers. Free health screenings will also be available on-site.
The Representative encourages seniors in the area to attend to learn more from the various vendors.
“This event provides seniors in our community with great information about the services and opportunities that are available to them,” said Morrison. “The goal of bringing all these resources together is to help seniors live active, healthy lives.”
