There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 60173, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Cook News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Vandalia zip code. The 33-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 1 year in prison for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018 when he was 32 years old.
