Q1 2018 parolees recap: who was paroled in Elk Grove Village?

There were two offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Elk Grove Village zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by North Cook News.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in Elk Grove Village were men. The younger parolee is a 40-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2017, and the other is a 43-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving alcohol in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Anthony W. Fingl. He was convicted of crimes involving alcohol in 2017 when he was 41 years old. He is now 43.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
