Des Plaines home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Des Plaines rose by $17,000 while total sales decreased by 17.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 88 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,500 - a 7.8% increase over the $218,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 107 homes sold in Des Plaines in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Des Plaines for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,483, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
