Wilmette home prices fall in January 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Wilmette fell by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 44.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $575,000 - a 3.4% decrease over the $595,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Wilmette in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Wilmette for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $12,133, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for January 2019.
