Report: Schaumburg spent $13,400 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District 54 is up 0.8 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $13,300 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,400 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 14432 to 15003.

Schaumburg's spending in 2017-18 was 0.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
