City of Des Plaines recently issued the following announcement.
Winter is officially here, and the Des Plaines Public Works Department is working hard to keep public roadways accessible for vehicles and pedestrians.
Snow plowing and salt operations are always made easier with the cooperation and patience of our community members.
hen shoveling, please place snow on parkways, leaving the street free for plow trucks. For snowfalls over two inches, vehicles must be parked away from snow routes until snow removal operations are completed.
