Village of Brookfield issued the following announcement on July 23.
The Skin Cancer Foundation and Walgreens have partnered to offer free, full-body skin cancer screenings at the Brookfield Zoo from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m this Sunday, July 29.
The Destination: Healthy Skin national tour features a customized RV with private exam rooms, where trained dermatologists will provide free skin assessments and Walgreens pharmacists and beauty consultants help visitors choose effective sun protection, learn early detection techniques, and distribute sunscreen samples.
According to The Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States.
