Hoffman Estates Park District recently issued the following announcement.
The fun doesn’t end when fall arrives. The Hoffman Estates Park District (HE Parks) is now registering for its fall in-house youth soccer league and fall baseball, too.
Youth soccer is a fun, active, and recreational program for beginner soccer players who want to have fun, meet new friends, and learn the game of soccer. Kids will learn teamwork, basic skills, and sportsmanship. Games are played every Sunday. Early bird discounted registration ends June 30; the registration deadline is July 31. Children should register based on the grade they will be entering in the fall of 2018 with program number 169501. Program fees are $65 for residents and $75 for non-residents.
Fall is also a great time to get in a little extra baseball, too. For those who can’t get enough, HE Parks, Rolling Meadows Park District, Schaumburg Athletic Association, and Palatine Baseball Association are teaming up to offer this fall baseball league. Games will be played Monday-Thursday and Saturdays. The league will play between 8-10 games and will be separated by the grade level you enter in the 2018-19 school year. Teams will be formed for kids in 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade. Program fees are $100 for residents and $110 for non-residents. Register online with program number 239320.
