A. Consideration of Acceptance of Elgin Township Grant for Youth Related Initiatives ($20,000 grant)
Objective: Continue to offer initiatives to prevent youth from engaging in criminal activity which provide long-term positive effects and reduce future crime in the City.

B. Alignment Education Presentation
Executive Director Nancy Coleman will present on milestones and forward direction of the Alignment Collaborative for Education (ACE), a collective impact organization serving 11 communities in supporting the success of all children in School District U-46.

C. Consideration of Amendment to Elgin Municipal Code Chapter 2.40 Entitled "Fire Department" (No cost to the City)
Objective: Modify the fire department’s current hiring requirements for firefighter to potentially assist in recruiting a more diverse group of eligible candidates.
D. Consideration of Community Development Block Grant Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2018 (No cost to the City)
Objective: Review recommendations from the CDBG Review Panel for Program Year 2018 CDBG funding.
E. Consideration of Adoption of the 2015 International Code Council Family of Building, Fire and Other Safety-Related Codes (No Cost to the City)
Objective: Ensure City building and life/safety codes remain current such that buildings are as safe as possible.
