Village of Wheeling Liquor Control Commission met February 5.

1. Call to Order
Chairman Horcher called the Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

3. Roll Call - Deputy Clerk Karen Henneberry called the roll and the following Commission members were present:
Mary Krueger, Ray Lang, Mary Papantos, Joe Vito, Dave Vogel, Pat Horcher
Commissioner Ken Brady was absent and informed the board prior to the meeting.
4. Approval of Minutes
Approval of Minutes for the Special Meeting of January 8, 2018
Motion by Mary Papantos, second by Dave Vogel to approve Minutes as presented.
Yes: Pat Horcher, Ray Lang, Mary Papantos, Joe Vito, Dave Vogel
Abstain: Mary Krueger
Final Resolution: Motion Approved
Commissioner Krueger abstained as she was not present at the January 8 meeting.
5. Citizen Concerns and Comments
D. Wilson commented on signage on Lake Cook Road.
6. New Business
A. Consideration of a Request for a Class M Liquor License from XO Restaurant & Banquet Hall Inc.
Deputy Clerk Henneberry read the request into the record.
Assistant Village Manager Michael Crotty reviewed the request.
Chairman Horcher asked for a Motion to approve conditioned on passage of an ordinance by the Board of Trustees authorizing the creation of a new Class M liquor license.
Motion by Mary Papantos, second by Ray Lang.

Final Resolution: Motion Approved

B. Consideration of a Request for a Class C-V Liquor License from Old Munich Tavern Inc.
Deputy Clerk Henneberry read the request into the record.
Assistant Village Manager Michael Crotty reviewed the request.
Bill Loumbardias spoke on behalf of Old Munich and answered a question from the Board.
Chairman Horcher asked for a Motion to approve, conditioned on 1) submission of a certificate of insurance indicating liquor liability insurance for the establishment that names the Village of Wheeling as an additional insured party; 2) submission of a current lease for the premises; 3) payment of all associated fees; 4) satisfactory background check results; and 5) passage of an ordinance by the Board of Trustees authorizing the creation of a new Class C-V liquor license.
Motion by Ray Lang, second by Dave Vogel.
