Shoppers in Skokie will have a new incentive to support local businesses during the holiday season. On Small Business Saturday, November 29, the “Start Your Day in Skokie” travel mug will be available for purchase at select locations for $40, while supplies last.
The mug allows holders to receive a free cup of coffee or tea every day throughout January 2026 at participating establishments. These include Will’s Place at 7927 Lincoln Ave., Qahwah House at 5238 Touhy Ave., Complimentary Cafe at 4933 Oakton St., and Blue Kale at 4907 Oakton St.
A portion of each sale will benefit the Skokie Community Foundation. Organizers describe this as an opportunity for residents to shop locally and contribute to community initiatives.
