Sierra Stennett, a Management student from Lake Barrington, Illinois, has joined the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawk women’s track and field team for the 2026 season.

The Warhawks finished fifth in both the indoor and outdoor championship meets of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 2025. At the national level, they placed 56th at the NCAA Indoor Championships and tied for 22nd at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Head coach Mike Johnson is now in his 15th season leading the women’s program. Under his leadership, the Warhawk women have achieved top-10 finishes at four national meets—two indoor and two outdoor.

The team began its 2026 campaign on January 17 at Carthage’s Firebird First Invitational. Their first regular season home meet will take place on Saturday, January 24, at the Karl Schlender Invitational held at Kachel Fieldhouse.
