Sidney Rogers, a former Glenbrook South High School standout, helped her collegiate team, the Washington Bears, defeat the Geneseo Knights 65-53 Friday, March 6 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at Branch Rickey Arena at 4:45 p.m. and marked the teams’ first tournament meeting against Geneseo.
The Washington Bears are slated to play again at Branch Rickey Arena on Saturday, March 7 at 7:15 p.m.
