Shelby Paluch of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, received a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater during winter commencement on December 13, 2025. The ceremony took place at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center.

Paluch graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science.

Additionally, 61 students participated in the university’s Hired Before Graduation campaign. This initiative recognizes those who secured employment, promotions, graduate school acceptance, or started businesses prior to graduation.
