On Friday, March 6, Samuel Hirsch—a William Fremd High School alum—competed with his collegiate team, the Loras Duhawks, who were defeated 85-76 by the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest began at 5:05 p.m. in WashU Field House, marking the first tournament meeting between the Duhawks and the Warhawks.
