Sammi France of Arlington Heights, Illinois, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater during winter commencement on December 13, 2025. The ceremony took place at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center.

France completed her studies Magna Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Elementary Middle Education.

The graduating class included 888 students. Among them were nine international students, 69 military veterans, and 154 nontraditional students—defined as undergraduates who are at least 25 years old. Seventy-seven graduates self-identified as having disabilities.

Sixty-one students participated in the university’s Hired Before Graduation campaign, which recognizes those who secured employment, received job promotions, were accepted to graduate school, or started businesses before graduation.
