At the January meeting of the Board of Education, Roosevelt Elementary School recognized fifth-grade student Angela Skoskiewicz and school social worker Linda Mirza for their contributions to the school community.
Roosevelt Principal Dr. Kevin Dwyer introduced Angela Skoskiewicz and shared comments from her teachers highlighting her kindness, strong friendships, and consistent effort in class. Dr. Dwyer said, “her warm and welcoming personality helps set a positive tone for our classrooms and school culture.” He also noted Angela’s enthusiasm for learning across all subjects and her engagement with peers during lessons. Fifth grade teacher Jerry Mulvihill commented on how rewarding it is to see Angela discuss ideas and actively participate in class.
“I’m very proud of Angela and I have no doubt that she has a bright future ahead,” said Dr. Dwyer.
