Reese Heyse of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, has been named to the University of Mississippi’s Fall 2025 Dean’s Honor Roll. Heyse is enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Education program for Elementary Education.

The Dean’s Honor Roll recognizes students who achieve a semester grade point average between 3.50 and 3.74. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 graded hours during the semester and cannot be on academic probation.

The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is the state’s flagship university and holds an R1: Doctoral Universities – Highest Research Activity designation from the Carnegie Classification. The university has a history of producing leaders in public service, academics, and business. It includes 16 academic divisions such as a major medical school and nationally recognized schools of accountancy, law, pharmacy, and an Honors College noted for its academic rigor and community engagement opportunities.
