On Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m., the Northern Illinois Huskies—featuring former Maine West High School standout Charlie Parcell—were defeated 17-2 by the Toledo Rockets in an NCAA Division I baseball matchup.

The matchup was held at Scott Park Baseball Complex. It marked the third meeting between these teams this season. A day earlier on Saturday, March 14, the Huskies had earned an 8-3 victory over the Rockets.

Parcell finished the game with three hits in three at-bats.

Northern Illinois is set to face the Miami RedHawks on Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m. at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park.
