Molly Grace Wheatley of Elk Grove Village has been recognized on the Deans’ List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year. Wheatley, a sophomore pre-health student, earned her place on the Dean’s List through the Explore Center.

Qualification for the Deans’ List is determined by each undergraduate college and the Explore Center, with varying minimum grade-point averages and required graded semester hours. Students may appear on more than one college’s list if they meet multiple requirements.

The specific GPA thresholds and respective deans or directors are as follows: College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, 3.75 (Interim Dean Thomas Burkey); College of Architecture, 3.75 (Dean Kevin G. Van Den Wymelenberg); College of Arts and Sciences, 3.7 (Interim Dean Patrick Dussault); College of Business, 3.6 (Dean Kathy Farrell); College of Education and Human Sciences, 3.75 (Dean Jeff Reese); College of Engineering, 3.7 (Dean Lance C. Perez); College of Journalism and Mass Communications, 3.7 (Interim Dean Adam Wagler); Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, 3.7 (Dean Andy Belser). For students in the Explore Center—covering undeclared majors as well as pre-engineering, pre-health, and pre-law—the requirement is a GPA of 3.6 under Senior Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Undergraduate Education Amy Goodburn.
