Madelyn Martinez of Des Plaines has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 term at University of Maryland Global Campus. The university states that students qualify for this recognition by completing at least six credits during the term, earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

University of Maryland Global Campus was established more than 75 years ago to serve working adults and military servicemembers seeking higher education. The institution is now the largest provider of postsecondary education in Maryland, offering online and hybrid courses, over 175 classroom and service locations worldwide, and more than 135 degrees and certificates as part of the University System of Maryland.
