Lincoln and Emerson Middle Schools announced on March 26 that their recent musical productions drew strong participation from students and significant community interest. Lincoln Middle School staged Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr., selling over 1,400 tickets and featuring more than 110 students in the production. This performance was noted as their final show on the stage at Emerson, with plans to move future performances to a new stage at Lincoln next year.

Emerson Middle School also held its own musical, Oliver! Jr., which involved 157 students. Both schools highlighted the dedication of their cast and crew members in making these events possible.

The success of these musicals reflects ongoing support for performing arts programs within both schools. High levels of student involvement suggest that such activities continue to be an important part of school life.

Looking ahead, Lincoln Middle School will transition its future productions to a new facility, marking a new chapter for its theater program.
