Former Evanston Township High School standout Pablo Herrera and his Lewis Flyers team were defeated 12-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup against the Purdue Northwest Pride on Saturday, March 7, at 12 p.m.

Playing at Brennan Field, this marked the teams’ third meeting this season. The Flyers emerged victorious in their most recent encounter on Friday, March 6, with a 10-3 win.

Herrera pitched one inning, allowing two earned runs and issuing one walk.
