Jonathan Wasilewski of Arlington Heights, Illinois, has been named to the fall 2025 chancellor’s list at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Students who earn a grade point average of 3.9 or higher are placed on the chancellor’s list. Those with a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.89 are named to the deans’ list. These lists recognize students’ academic achievements.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks is a Land, Sea and Space Grant institution and is the leading doctoral degree-granting university in Alaska. Since its founding in 1917, UAF has been recognized internationally for research related to the Arctic and sub-Arctic in fields such as biology, geophysics, engineering, natural resources and climate.
