Former Loyola Academy player Brock Graf and his college team, the Holy Cross Crusaders, fell 13-3 to the Portland Pilots in an NCAA Division I baseball contest at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7.
The matchup was held at Joe Etzel Field and marked the teams’ third meeting this season. In the prior game on Friday, March 6, Holy Cross was defeated 10-4 by the Pilots.
Graf gave up five earned runs over 2.1 innings, collecting one walk and one strikeout.
Holy Cross is slated to face the Portland Pilots again at Joe Etzel Field on Sunday, March 8, at 12 p.m.
