Former William Fremd High School star Gina Dudley and her Rhodes Lynx teammates suffered a 10-7 defeat to the Maryville Scots in an NCAA Division III softball contest held Sunday, Feb. 22, at noon.
The matchup at Rhodes Softball Field marked the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Lynx had edged out a 6-5 victory over Maryville in their initial face-off on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Dudley surrendered five earned runs across three innings, registering five walks and four strikeouts.
Up next, the Lynx face off against the Lyon Scots at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, once again at Rhodes Softball Field.
