Gianna Mauro of Des Plaines, Illinois, has been named to the University of Mississippi’s Dean’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2025 semester. Mauro is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management.

The Dean’s Honor Roll recognizes students who achieve a semester GPA between 3.50 and 3.74. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 graded hours during the semester and must not be on academic probation.

The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is classified among R1: Doctoral Universities – Highest Research Activity by the Carnegie Classification. The university offers 16 academic divisions including a major medical school and nationally recognized schools in accountancy, law, pharmacy, and an Honors College focused on academic rigor and community engagement.
