Eastern Illinois University has announced the students who have earned a place on the Fall 2025 Dean’s List. The university awards this honor to undergraduate students with a declared major who achieve a semester grade point average between 3.80 and 4.00 while completing at least 12 graded credit hours.
This recognition highlights students’ dedication and performance in their academic work. Among those named to the Dean’s List are Madelyn Schiffman of Glenview, a Management major, and Kaitlyn Evans of Glenview, a Spanish Teacher Education major.
Eastern Illinois University is located in Charleston, Illinois. The university reports that it is the most affordable public university in the state and that 91% of its graduates are employed or enrolled in graduate school within months of graduation, which it states is the highest placement rate among Illinois public universities.
