All schools and offices in District 64 will be closed on Friday, January 23, due to forecasts of extremely low wind chills reaching minus 30 degrees. The district announced that all before- and after-school activities, including the Beyond the Bell program, are also canceled for that day.

The decision was made after discussions with other local school districts and by monitoring weather updates from the National Weather Service. “Keeping all students, families, and staff members safe remains our first priority,” said Dr. Ben Collins, Superintendent.

After-school programs scheduled for Thursday and activities planned for Saturday will proceed as usual. Any further updates will be communicated through ParentSquare.
