Denison Big Red earned a 17-0 victory against the North Central Cardinals in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup Sunday, March 15, at 12:10 p.m. Noah Shapo, a former New Trier High School standout, is currently part of the Denison team.
The game was held at Lee Pfund Stadium and marked the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
Shapo pitched one inning, recording two walks and two strikeouts.
Denison’s next contest will take place Tuesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. at Huston Sports Complex, where they are set to face Lewis & Clark Pioneers.
